Life in 2020

Desert
A commission started last fall is done. Size approx. 10 m x 3 m The commissioner wanted a desert and a rider on a horse. We talked a lot throughout the process. Among the topics were deserts of Arizona, Spaghetti Westerns, American cars, Clint Eastwood, travelling and motorcycles. Comic books like Lucky Luke and Tex Willer came strongly to my mind. Moebius and his landscapes were an inspiration too. I think all the mentioned just mixed and transformed and took a visual form that came out to be this. In any case I want to say thank you Ismo for this experience. Your hospitality and your mentality in life are things to look up to.
